I am a software engineer. I am a generalist, but if pushed I would sub-categorise myself as a back-end engineer.

Conference talks:

• Has Asyncio Solved Concurrency?; PyCon ZA 2020 (8 Oct 2020).
• Philosophy of Refactoring; PyCon UK 2019 (13 Sept 2019).

Python tools:

• AsyncFlow (docs, releases, source) manages execution of concurrent processes.
• ArgComb (docs, releases, source) checks combinations of arguments passed to functions are valid.

Education:

• I am an Associate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
• I hold a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Bristol.
